What if the greatest obstacle to loving our neighbors isn't our differences, but the assumptions we make about one another?
Following our first workshop, Loving Our Neighbors, this workshop continues the conversation by exploring how we can build stronger, more compassionate relationships across difference in our families, workplaces, and communities. While the first workshop introduced allyship as a practice of compassion and inclusion, this workshop turns our attention to the neuroscience of inclusion.
We'll briefly revisit the foundational ideas from our first workshop before exploring how our brains naturally form assumptions—and how awareness and curiosity can help us move beyond them.
Whether you attended Loving Our Neighbors or are joining us for the first time, you'll find a welcoming space for learning, reflection, and authentic conversation.
