PRISM is a compassionate community organization in Golden Valley dedicated to providing dignity-centered resources for food, housing, and other basic needs to families in the northwest Twin Cities suburbs. In March, we’re once again hosting a food drive to support PRISM’s vital work.
March is Minnesota FoodShare Month, and Unity Minneapolis is collecting non-perishable food and essential household items. Most-needed items include toothbrushes, toothpaste, toilet paper, and diapers. Canned protein (tuna, chicken, peanut butter, beans) and baking staples (flour, sugar, oil — smaller 1 lb. quantities) are also appreciated.
Pick up a grocery bag at church on Sunday or shop on your own, then return your filled bags to Unity Minneapolis and we’ll deliver them to PRISM. Monetary donations are also gratefully accepted.
