<div class="body-text"><strong>2026- THE QUEST- A Journey of Spiritual Rediscovery</strong></div><div class="body-text"> </div><div class="body-text"><strong><u>JULY CURRICULUM</u></strong></div><div class="body-text"><strong>Teens on The Quest</strong></div><div class="body-text"> </div><div class="body-text"><strong>Week 1  |  Chapter 29  | Living in the Now</strong></div><div class="body-text">Spiritual Purpose and Principles to teach and demonstrate:</div><ul><li><div class="body-text">You will never have more potential for good than you have right now.</div></li><li><div class="body-text">God withholds nothing from you.</div></li><li><div class="body-text">There is no time but now.</div></li><li><div class="body-text">You are planted where you can grow best at this time.</div></li><li><div class="body-text">Use the raw materials of the past to design a new blueprint for the future.</div></li></ul><div class="body-text"><strong>Affirmation: </strong>“I thank You, God, for my past, that I can learn from it. I thank You for my future, and I know there is good in it. But most of all, I thank You for the newness that I am today. I savor each moment.”</div><div class="body-text"> </div><div class="body-text"><strong>Week 2  |  Chapter 30  | Child of God</strong></div><div class="body-text">Spiritual Purpose and Principles to teach and demonstrate:</div><ul><li><div class="body-text">More than any earthly father, God wants to give you everything absolute good.</div></li><li><div class="body-text">God is your true parent.</div></li><li><div class="body-text">We are all brothers and sisters, and we each have equal access to all that “the Father” has.</div></li><li><div class="body-text">You bear the characteristics of your cosmic parent.</div></li><li><div class="body-text">What you believe about yourself determines your life.</div></li></ul><div class="body-text"><strong>Affirmation: </strong>“God, I am Your child. Thank You for the safety of Your loving arms as I go about the work which is mine to do. I know that nothing can harm or overwhelm me, for I am Yours. I acknowledge that You are my Source, my Creator, my Sustainer, and that all which You have is mine. I also acknowledge my kinship with all humanity and give thanks that I and You and they are one.”</div><div class="body-text"> </div><div class="body-text"><strong>Week 3  |  Chapter 31  | Judgment</strong></div><div class="body-text">Spiritual Purpose and Principles to teach and demonstrate:</div><ul><li><div class="body-text">Judging only by outer appearances is a mistake, because things are rarely what they seem.</div></li><li><div class="body-text">When you harshly judge or condemn, you are overlooking the Christ presence in that person.</div></li><li><div class="body-text">Disapproval of a person is a disapproval of God.</div></li><li><div class="body-text">There is a great difference between being judgmental and using good judgment.</div></li><li><div class="body-text">You have to <i>love</i> each person’s divine essence, but you do not have to <i>like </i>someone’s inappropriate behavior.</div></li></ul><div class="body-text"><strong>Affirmation: </strong>“Thank You, God, for the Christ presence within me. I now look for the same presence in everyone else. Help me to use my judgment rightly, to see as You see. If I am faced with actions which I do not like, help me understand that this is done by a child of Yours, so that I may turn away with a loving heart. Thank You, God, for my good judgment.”</div><div class="body-text"> </div><div class="body-text"><strong>Week 4  |  Chapter 32  | Spirit</strong></div><div class="body-text">Spiritual Purpose and Principles to teach and demonstrate:</div><ul><li><div class="body-text">The Spirit of God will come to you in unexpected moments and unexpected ways.</div></li><li><div class="body-text">You must be willing to serve as an instrument for Spirit to play through in whatever manner It desires.</div></li><li><div class="body-text">The harder you try to capture the experience of Spirit, the more elusive Spirit becomes.</div></li><li><div class="body-text">A desire and a willingness is the only way to open yourself to receiving the Holy Spirit.</div></li><li><div class="body-text">The “baptism of the Holy Spirit” is something so personal and so mystical that it cannot be described in words.</div></li><li><div class="body-text">You are not a failure if you have not yet experienced the presence of the Spirit of God in your life. It will come.</div></li></ul><div class="body-text"><strong>Affirmation:</strong> “Sweet and holy Spirit of God, I invite You into my life. Play through me as Your instrument for peace and healing and joy and love in this world. Create the music in me that I was born to sing.
