2026- THE QUEST- A Journey of Spiritual Rediscovery
JUNE CURRICULUM
Teens on The Quest
Week 1 | Youth Bridging Ceremony
Here at Unity, we have a tradition in Youth and Family Ministry where we celebrate and recognize the conclusion of a school year and acknowledge the journey forward to what’s next in our children’s lives. We mark this Rite of Passage with our Bridging Ceremony. We recognize that there is a transition between the ending of one experience and the beginning of the next. Our children participate in a ceremony where they cross the bridge into their next year of growth and development. As part of this ceremony, we use Unity’s 12 Powers to illustrate to the children that everything they need for their journey ahead is already within them.
Affirmation:
“I am ready for what’s next!”
Week 2 | Chapter 27 | Guidance
Spiritual Purpose and Principles to teach and demonstrate:
Your inner guidance will never fail to steer you right.
Inner guidance comes from your own Christ essence, which is always working on your behalf.
Inner guidance comes through the feelings, rather than the intellect.
Prerequisites for receiving inner guidance are release, peace, openness, and trust.
As Jesus cautioned, your inner guidance can come at any time, often when you least expect it.
Affirmation:
“Christ spirit within me, speak to me in your ways I cannot possibly ignore, so that I may follow Your will and Your way. Help me to recognize the unmistakable signs, as I release all concern and trust Your unfailing desire for my good.”
Week 3 | Father’s Day |
Spiritual Purpose and Principles to teach and demonstrate:
God is the only power and presence in the Universe. That power and presence of God is good and manifests in many ways.
We experience God’s goodness through the loving guidance and stability of the Divine Masculine.
We recognize and appreciate the Divine Masculine through the presence of Fathers and caregivers in our lives.
Week 4 | Chapter 28 | Overcoming Fear
Spiritual Purpose and Principles to teach and demonstrate:
If you live in a fearful state, there will always be something of which to be afraid.
With fear in your heart, you can never fully accept God’s good.
You are meant to have dominion over all things.
The final overcoming of fear is the realization that the presence of God is a great safety net under you at all times
There is a part of you which can never be afraid.
Affirmation:
“Sweet Christ spirit within me, I feel the strength of Your supportive arms, holding me safe and secure. There is nothing to fear. I am free- alive- joy-filled. Thank You, God.”
