<div class="body-text"><strong>2026- THE QUEST- A Journey of Spiritual Rediscovery</strong></div><div class="body-text"> </div><div class="body-text"><strong><u>AUGUST CURRICULUM</u></strong></div><div class="body-text"><strong>Teens on The Quest</strong></div><div class="body-text"> </div><div class="body-text"><strong>Week 1  |  Chapter 33  | The Jesus Christ Presence</strong> </div><div class="body-text">Spiritual Purpose and Principles to teach and demonstrate:</div><ul><li><div class="body-text">Jesus’ teachings serve as guideposts in the Quest.</div></li><li><div class="body-text">The teachings of Jesus are transformational.</div></li><li><div class="body-text">Jesus discovered, embodied, and expressed the Christ, the innate divinity of all humankind.</div></li><li><div class="body-text">Through the presence of the Christ within us, we can do “great works” just as Jesus did.</div></li><li><div class="body-text">Through the Christ presence within us, we express “the universal love of God in its fullness.”</div></li></ul><div class="body-text"><strong>Affirmation: </strong>“Jesus Christ, I call upon Your name. I open the door that You will come into my life. Reveal Yourself to me that I may know You more. I desire to follow You and to consecrate my life to Your will and Your way. In Your name I pray. Amen.”</div><div class="body-text"> </div><div class="body-text"><strong>Week 2  |  Chapter 34  | Relationships</strong></div><div class="body-text">                Spiritual Purpose and Principles to teach and demonstrate:</div><ul><li><div class="body-text">Trying to deal with people on the personality level is futile and time-consuming.</div></li><li><div class="body-text">It is natural to long for close contact with other humans.</div></li><li><div class="body-text">There is a level in every human soul which knows no conflict, competition, or contempt; it is the level of the Christ.</div></li><li><div class="body-text">To heal any relationship, cut through all of the hurts and angers and fears and go directly to the Christ level of the person.</div></li><li><div class="body-text">When we are in contact with our spiritual dimension, we realize our oneness with others. There is no need to be concerned with choosing words, because the Christ always knows exactly what to say.</div></li></ul><div class="body-text"><strong>Affirmation: </strong>“Christ of my being, I acknowledge Your presence within me, and I allow You to harmonize all of my relationships. Help me to see the Christ in all others and to know that I am truly one with them and they are one with me.”</div><div class="body-text"> </div><div class="body-text"><strong>Week 3  |  Chapter 35  | Helping Others</strong></div><div class="body-text">Spiritual Purpose and Principles to teach and demonstrate:</div><ul><li><div class="body-text">Seeing someone through the eyes of Spirit is the <i>only</i> way you can ever truly help that person.</div></li><li><div class="body-text">By believing in the Christ power in you, you lift your own consciousness, which then perceives nothing to “fix” in the other people.</div></li><li><div class="body-text">From a higher level of awareness, you see only the wholeness and good in someone.</div></li><li><div class="body-text">If your consciousness is high, your very <i>beingness</i> is enough to help those who need it. They “touch the hem of your garment,” they touch your consciousness.</div></li><li><div class="body-text">You serve as a beacon which draws others into their own light.</div></li><li><div class="body-text">Your most effective role as helper of others is simply to <i>be</i>.</div></li></ul><div class="body-text"><strong>Affirmation: </strong>“God, my only prayer is to know You. I allow You to lift my soul higher today than ever before. Aware of Your abiding presence within me, I am a blessing to all who cross my path.”</div><div class="body-text"> </div><div class="body-text"><strong>Week 4  |  Chapter 36  | Thanksgiving</strong></div><div class="body-text">                Spiritual Purpose and Principles to teach and demonstrate:</div><ul><li><div class="body-text">It is your responsibility to ignite the feeling of thanksgiving in yourself.</div></li><li><div class="body-text">People, animals, plants, and even the cells of our bodies respond in a positive manner to sincere words and feelings of appreciation and praise.</div></li><li><div class="body-text">All forms of life love to hear the truth about themselves; that they are radiant expressions of the eternal God.</div></li><li><div class="body-text">Thankfulness multiples the good you already have.</div></li></ul><div class="body-text"><strong>Affirmation:</strong> “Thank You, God, for hearing me. I know You always hear me, and that You meet my every need. I give thanks for all of my blessings, and my only prayer is to know You more.”</div><div class="body-text"> </div><div class="body-text"><strong>Week 5  | Chapter 37  |  Prosperity</strong></div><div class="body-text">                Spiritual Purpose and Principles to teach and demonstrate:</div><ul><li><div class="body-text">Prosperity is your right by divine inheritance.</div></li><li><div class="body-text">True prosperity comes not through getting but through giving.</div></li><li><div class="body-text">You do not deprive someone else when you prosper, as the Source is unlimited.</div></li><li><div class="body-text">It is not sinful or impious to have your needs abundantly met.</div></li><li><div class="body-text">Material possessions can never satisfy your soul’s yearning to be filled.</div></li><li><div class="body-text">Giving thanks in advance helps to multiply the good you already have.</div></li><li><div class="body-text">It is necessary to lovingly and unconditionally share your good with the source of your spiritual nourishment.</div></li><li><div class="body-text">Forgiveness is necessary for prosperity.</div></li><li><div class="body-text">You live in an opulent universe, a sea of prosperity. Use what you have, share what you have, and give thanks.</div></li></ul><div class="body-text"><strong>Affirmation:</strong> “I see abundance everywhere I look. Opportunities for new good flow toward me daily, and I acknowledge You, God, as my true Source of good.
