<div class="body-text"><strong><u>JUNE CURRICULUM</u></strong></div><div class="body-text">Children on The Quest</div><div class="body-text"><strong>Week 1  |  Youth Bridging Ceremony</strong></div><div class="body-text">Here at Unity, we have a tradition in Youth and Family Ministry where we celebrate and recognize the conclusion of a school year and acknowledge the journey forward to what’s next in our children’s lives. We mark this Rite of Passage with our Bridging Ceremony. We recognize that there is a transition between the ending of one experience and the beginning of the next. Our children participate in a ceremony where they cross the bridge into their next year of growth and development. As part of this ceremony, we use Unity’s 12 Powers to illustrate to the children that everything they need for their journey ahead is already within them.</div><div class="body-text"><strong>Week 2  |  Chapter 27  | Guidance</strong></div><div class="body-text">               Spiritual Purpose and Principles to teach and demonstrate:</div><ul><li><div class="body-text">The Christ spirit within is the source of our guidance and always available to us.</div></li><li><div class="body-text">As we act upon the guidance of the indwelling Christ, we manifest our good.</div></li><li><div class="body-text">Outer signs and voices are helpful for showing us the way when they reflect the guidance we feel in our hearts.</div></li><li><div class="body-text">As reflections of our inner guidance, outer signs and voices can be helpful in getting our attention, reminding us to listen to the “still small voice” within.</div></li><li><div class="body-text">The still small voice within is easiest to hear when we are open and trusting in the Christ spirit that expresses in, through and as us.</div></li></ul><div class="body-text"><strong>Week 3  |  Father’s Day  | Appreciation for the Divine Masculine</strong></div><div class="body-text">               Spiritual Purpose and Principles to teach and demonstrate:</div><ul><li><div class="body-text">God is the only power and presence in the Universe. That power and presence of God is good and manifests in many ways.</div></li><li><div class="body-text">We experience God’s goodness through the loving guidance and stability of the Divine Masculine.</div></li><li><div class="body-text">We recognize and appreciate the Divine Masculine through the presence of Fathers and caregivers in our lives.</div></li></ul><div class="body-text"><strong>Week 4  | Chapter 28  |  Overcoming Fear</strong></div><div class="body-text">               Spiritual Purpose and Principles to teach and demonstrate:</div><ul><li><div class="body-text">God is present in all things</div></li><li><div class="body-text">An experience of fear can be a block to the flow of good in our lives.</div></li><li><div class="body-text">An experience of trust can lead us to an experience of the divine and further inform our lives.</div></li><li><div class="body-text">As we trust God’s presence in our lives, we can move through our fears to embrace our good.</div></li><li><div class="body-text">We have the power within to keep our thoughts centered on the presence of God; in that state of mind (consciousness), we experience no fear.</div></li><li><div class="body-text">We always have the choice to see our experiences in a different light.</div></li><li><div class="body-text">As we trust the environment of spirit in our lives, our needs are met so there is nothing to fear.</div></li></ul><div class="body-text"><strong><u>UPCOMING EVENTS:</u></strong></div><div class="body-text"><strong>YFM Fundraiser Summer Cookout  |  Sunday July 12  |  11:00am-12:00pm</strong></div><div class="body-text"><a href="https://unityminneapolis.org/Summer-Cookout"><strong>https://unityminneapolis.org/Summer-Cookout</strong></a></div>
