We would like to take a moment to follow up on the Inclusion Survey conducted in May. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the 50+ individuals who took the time to complete the survey. Your valuable perspectives and insights are truly appreciated.

The survey was designed to gather feedback on inclusion, identity, and outreach within our community. We are pleased to share a few key takeaways:
- The majority of survey participants feel comfortable expressing their identity at Unity Minneapolis, and they believe it is a welcoming community.
- There is a strong sense that Unity Minneapolis’ leadership demonstrates a deep commitment to equity and inclusion.
- Many respondents expressed a desire for increased engagement with the local community and emphasized the importance of strengthening the generational and ethnic/racial diversity within our congregation.
- Youth and Family Engagement: We will focus on creating opportunities for greater involvement both within our congregation and with the broader external community.
- Membership Outreach Initiative: We are launching a new initiative to proactively connect with individuals who are seeking a spiritual home, while this is separate from our community outreach team, there will be times of collaboration ensure a unified approach.
- Strengthening Relationships within Unity Minneapolis: We will foster deeper interpersonal connections and collaboration across the various ministries and initiatives at Unity (i.e. EarthCare, Hospitality, Outreach, Décor, and Music.)
